# 1971 Riviera: supplied kit adaptation

Source: `1971_Riviera_1-10_61_Piece_Kit.zip`, provided by the project owner. The assembled frame of `1971_Riviera_455_TH400_Working_Kit.blend` supplies the geometry. Original maker/license metadata was not specified in the supplied manifest; no external license is asserted here.

- 1:10 kit millimetres converted to full-size metres; 3.0988 m wheelbase.
- Body, doors, trunk, wraparound rear glass, windshield, bumpers, lights, interior, 455 engine, Quadrajet, air cleaner and driveline retained.
- Approximately 270,000 triangles; 8.75 MB GLB without texture downloads. Static pieces are batched by material, with hood and wheel assemblies independent.
- Printed hinge pins, spare tire, jack and inward wheel axle stubs removed. Duplicate inner glazing surfaces removed; curved exterior glass retained.
- Body paint follows the garage paint choice. Transparent smoked glazing, opaque chrome and rubber, amber front / red rear side markers, and separate dark headlamp carriers / round lenses.
- Hood pivot retained from source: (0, .95, .58) metres in game coordinates. Opens 55 degrees at the rear hinge. Opens by default only in the garage; wheel/stance transforms remain independent.
- The supplied model is an interpretation, not a certified factory scan. Panel gaps and some angular surface details are inherited from the printable kit.

The procedural Riviera remains a loading fallback. The kit-derived model replaces it once its asset loads. No print instructions or embedded source-file scripts are executed by the game.
